Like a great author, we spend years developing our technique and style until we can create a story that is totally unique; one that can only be told visually...</div> <br> <div class="myText"><center><b>...<i>YOUR</i> story.</b></center></div><br> <br> <div class="myText"> Of course, you can hire one of the corporate "mass production" studios in our area, but please keep in mind that portraiture is an art, and art is created by individuals that are driven to excellence and passionate about creating works that are not only beautiful, but timeless.<br> A portrait should be a representation of who you are, not just the way you look. There is so much more to you than your hair style, the color of your eyes, or the tone of your skin. You are personality, attitude, mystery, and a whole myriad of other subtleties that must be considered and conveyed in creating a true likeness of the unique individual that is you. Everything, from the scar you earned when learning to ride your first bicycle to the way you brush your hair from in front of your eyes; everything must be considered.<br> <div class="myPhotoR"> <img src="http://visions-imagery.smugmug.com/photos/208953486_ThiVr-S-4.jpg" width="400" height="267" /> </div> While we can accommodate almost any request, our approach to shooting portraits is somewhat different. In addition to traditional studio and location shots, we include a more candid style, a sort of “capture life as it happens” method. Great portraits aren’t just created in a studio, because life doesn’t just happen in a studio; and life is never posed. You should be comfortable, whether that is over a cup of coffee at your kitchen table, in one of the many parks in our area, or playing with your children in your back yard. This is why location shoots are included in our session fee. Your last year of high school will be filled with good times with your friends, ball games, college prep, and planning for your future. But senior year is much more. It’s making a lot of your own decisions, expressing your individuality, and making your voice be heard. Your senior pictures should represent you in every way, to bring who you really are into your portrait.<br> The way we accomplish this is getting to know who <u>you</u> are. We’ll meet with you and a parent (if you like) to hear their wishes and yours. We’ll then design a session to meet both your desires. This pre-session consultation is included in the session fee. After the pre-session, we’ll schedule a 2 hour shoot at a location of your choice (restrictions apply). This can be a park, by the river, or at your own home. In all of the excitement and grandeur of the occasion, sometimes the greatest shots are of the subtleties in the events surrounding the ceremony. In addition to the traditional poses, many times the best photos are ones where the subjects were unaware they were being photographed. It is for this reason that we have adopted a photojournalistic style to wedding coverage. After all, it’s your day, you take center stage; and we’ll be shooting from the wings!<br> <br> <center>A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due at contract signing to reserve your wedding day. No matter the sport, we have the ability and experience to get “the shot”. Whether we’re shooting an NHRA event, a local band competition, or a T-ball game, we give all of our assignments the same attention to detail and quality. <br> We don’t use lab supplied templates for our digital mats, trading cards, composites, and graphics. They’re custom designed and team specific. It’s just one of the ways we strive to give you something unique and spectacular.<br> Our package prices are very competitive, and we’re constantly on the lookout for new and innovative products and services. But we won’t stop there. Visions Imagery has adopted a policy of donating 10% of all profits from the sale of your photos back to your team or organization.
